Job Description: IV Skills Training Assisting Nursing Instructor

Frontline Medical Training Services, LLC is a healthcare training company based in Meadville and Philadelphia, PA. We specialize in providing high-quality training courses for medical and healthcare professionals. Our focus is on delivering IV Therapy training for registered nurses (RNs) and offering PA SBON-approved IV Therapy for licensed practical nurses (LPNs). Additionally, we provide training in CPR, First Aid, infection control, and other essential healthcare skills.

Role Description:

We are currently seeking an IV Skills Training Assisting Nursing Instructor to join our team on a contract and Casual PRN basis. This role will be based on-site at any of our contracted facilities throughout PA and the surrounding area. As an IV Skills Training Instructor, your primary responsibility will be to support our training programs by assisting with hands-on training sessions and providing guidance to participants. You will work closely with our trainers and help create a positive learning environment for our students. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about healthcare education and IV therapy and looking to make a difference in the training of medical professionals while gaining a little extra cash on the side. The main function will be working with our primary educators and assisting with IV skills in a lab/class setting, providing training to licensed nurses.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the delivery of IV therapy skills in a lab/class setting. IV skills can be peripheral access and/or central venous access.

• Provide hands-on training and guidance to healthcare professionals on IV therapy techniques.

• Travel to different contracted facilities within your area to conduct training sessions.

• Collaborate with other trainers and staff to ensure consistent and high-quality training delivery.

• Provide feedback and assessments to participants to help them improve their IV therapy skills.

• Stay updated on the latest IV therapy techniques and best practices.

• Must complete our 8-hour online training in addition to in-person teaching preparation.

Qualifications:

• Must be a nurse. RN preferred. LPN with extensive IV therapy experience may be considered.

• Valid nursing license.

• Experience and proficiency in any type of IV therapy.

• Strong knowledge of peripheral and/or central IV therapy procedures and techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive learning environment.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Ability to complete a PA Background check.

• Ability to complete a drug screen.

• Occasional availability during the week during regular business hours.

• Willingness to travel to healthcare facilities in your area to assist with training sessions.
